Safe & Clean: Even Late at Night
I visited at 23:00. While many restaurants were starting to close, this place was another world. I was drawn inside, and what surprised me most was how clean it was. It has a modern atmosphere that even a solo female traveler can feel comfortable in. It’s perfect for spending some quiet "me time" in the middle of the night.

Seeking a bit of a kick, I selected the "Mala Pot" (Spicy Hot Pot). The price was 235 NTD. When the steaming pot arrived, the aroma of spices filled the air.

✨ Heartwarming "Taiwanese Kindness"
Duck blood (Yaxue) is an essential part of Taiwan hot pot. The pot usually comes with two pieces. I was hesitating whether to add more, when the staff kindly suggested, "You can swap the regular tofu for more duck blood!" This kind of flexibility is typical of the wonderful Taiwanese hospitality.
The Art of the Self-Service Station
While waiting for your pot to boil, you can enjoy the self-service sauce station. Making a special dipping sauce with Shacha sauce, green onions, and garlic enhances the flavor of the ingredients even more. They also offer unlimited drinks, which is a lifesaver when you need a break from the spicy soup.

It's within walking distance of the Liuhe Night Market, and there's a reasonably priced hotel right next door. You can achieve the perfect travel itinerary: "Explore the night market, then end the night with a hot pot in a clean, cozy restaurant."
